Sometimes something goes wrong during treatment in a hospital. Then there may be help from a fund. A fund is a pot of money for such cases. Here you prepare the way through WPPA and see what matters for pauses or repayment.

  2. 2Name the hospital and its ownerThis is about the hospital where the harm happened. The operator is who runs or owns the hospital.Key step
    Why?
    The fund only covers certain hospitals in Vienna. These are public hospitals or private non-profit hospitals. Doctors' practices and private for-profit clinics are not covered.
    What you do
    The harm must have happened on or after 1.1.2001. Have WPPA check the hospital and the time directly.

  4. 4Make sure your claim has not expiredVerjährung means: after a certain time you can no longer claim something. This time limit must still be open for the fund.Key step
