01Who is behind it?

einfach.wien is run by me, Vidoslav Poryazov, from 2486 Landegg.

einfach.wien is a private website. It is free, without advertising and without paid services. einfach.wien is not an authority and is not affiliated with the City of Vienna or any other authority.

02Why does einfach.wien exist?

I built einfach.wien because official procedures in Vienna are hard to understand for newcomers.

The information usually exists already, but spread over many websites and written in difficult official language. einfach.wien collects it, explains it simply and turns it into a plan that fits your situation: step by step, with the documents you need.

03How is the content made?

  • The basis is official sources, for example the websites of the City of Vienna, oesterreich.gv.at, the AMS or the social insurance. There are currently 649 sources for 154 plans.
  • Every step shows which source it comes from and on which day it was retrieved. See all sources
  • The content is summarised from these sources. It has not been reviewed by lawyers. So: all information without guarantee and no legal advice. Check deadlines and fees for your case in the original.
  • einfach.wien is available in 15 languages. The German version is authoritative; the 14 translations are not official.
  • einfach.wien uses no external AI service. The help bot answers only with the content of this website.
  • There are no advertising cookies. What you enter in a plan stays in your browser.

04Whose voices read aloud?

The “Explain it to me” button explains every step and every form aloud. The recordings are made with the free speech programs Piper and Chatterbox on our own computer, without an online service and at no cost. Where there is no recording yet, your device’s voice reads aloud.

Deutsch: Piper · Thorsten (CC0) · English: Piper · Alba (CC BY 4.0) · Türkçe: Chatterbox (MIT) · العربية: Chatterbox (MIT) · فارسی: Piper · Amir (CC0) · Română: Piper · Mihai (CC0) · Български: Piper · Dimitar (CC0) · Español: Piper · Davefx (CC0) · Italiano: Piper · Paola (CC0) · Français: Piper · SIWIS (CC BY 4.0) · हिन्दी: Chatterbox (MIT) · Kiswahili: Chatterbox (MIT) · Polski: Piper · Gosia (CC0) · Українська: Piper · Ukrainian TTS (CC0)

05When was it last updated?

The sources were last retrieved on 25 October 2026. Version 1.0.

When a plan changes, it gets a new version. If you saved it, it shows you what changed.

I check the sources regularly and update the plans when something changes.

06Found a mistake?

Every step in a plan has “Report a problem with this step”. It is anonymous and takes one click.

You can also write to info@einfach.wien. Please do not send ID documents, official decisions or health data by e-mail.

I read every report and correct mistakes as quickly as I can.
