  4. 4Ask the venue operator if it fitsThe venue is the place of your event. The operator is whoever runs this place. A suitability determination (Eignungsfeststellung) is a paper from the office: the place is fit for events.Key step
    Why?
    If the place already has a matching permission, you may not need a new one. But only if it really fits your event.
    What you do
    Ask the operator for existing decisions (Bescheide) and what they allow. A Bescheid is an official letter from the office. For changes or another type of event, ask MA 36.
